NCL Apprentice Trainees Recruitment 2026-27

Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) has released an official notification for the engagement of Graduate, Diploma, Trade (ITI), and Paramedical Apprentice Trainees for a period of one year under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the Financial Year 2026-2027.

Vacancy Details & Monthly Stipend

A total of 1,607 vacancies have been announced across various disciplines:

Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: Only Indian Nationals are eligible.

• Region Restriction: Candidates must have completed their requisite qualification from educational institutions located in Uttar Pradesh (UP) or Madhya Pradesh (MP).

• Essential Qualification: Must possess a full-time regular Degree, Diploma, ITI Trade Certificate, or Paramedical Certificate (from AICTE/UGC/NCVT/SCVT recognized institutes).

• Year of Passing: Candidates who completed their course before June 2022 are not eligible.

• Exclusions: Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training or possess one year or more of work experience are not eligible.

Age Limit (As of 01.06.2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 Years

• Maximum Age: 26 Years (Candidates must be born between 01.06.2000 and 01.06.2008)

• Age Relaxation: * SC / ST: 5 Years

  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 Years

  • PwBD (Unreserved): 10 Years (Up to 15 years for SC/ST PwBD)

Selection Process

• No Written Exam / No Interview.

• Selection will be purely based on a Merit List prepared from the marks obtained in the qualifying examinations (Degree/Diploma/ITI/Paramedical).

• For ITI trades, the merit is calculated based on the average marks of Matriculation (10th) and the Trade Certificate.

• Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification (Scrutiny) and a Mandatory Medical Examination as per Mines Rules, 1955.

• Passport size photograph and Signature.

• Aadhaar Card (linked with bank account for DBT stipend).

• 10th / Matriculation Marksheet & Certificate.

• Degree / Diploma / ITI / Paramedical Marksheet & Certificate.

• Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL) & EWS Certificate (if applicable).

• PwBD Certificate (if applicable).

How to Apply

The application process is entirely Online. No offline or hard-copy applications will be accepted.

1. Step 1 (Portal Registration):

   • Graduate & Diploma Candidates: Must register on the NATS Portal (nats.education.gov.in).

   • Trade (ITI) & Paramedical Candidates: Must register on the NAPS Portal (www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in).

2. Step 2 (Apply for Opportunity): Complete your profile up to 100%, search for Northern Coalfields Limited under the establishment section, select the respective trade slot, and submit the application before 15 June 2026.
