Negative Marking

Negative marking will apply in both papers.
  • One-third (1/3) mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
  • Multiple answers marked for a question will be treated as a wrong answer.
  • Unanswered questions without marking any option will also attract a penalty.

OMR Answer Sheet Instructions

  • Each question will contain five options (1, 2, 3, 4, 5).
  • Candidates must darken only one option using a Blue Ball Point Pen.
  • If a candidate does not wish to attempt a question, Option 5 must be marked.
  • If no option is marked, one-third mark will be deducted.
  • An additional 10 minutes will be provided to ensure all questions have a marked option.
  • Candidates leaving more than 10% of questions without marking any option will be disqualified.
Candidates who submit their online application form can make permitted corrections within the prescribed period.

Important Correction Rules

  • Name, Father's Name, Date of Birth and Gender can only be corrected after updating Aadhaar or Jan Aadhaar records.
  • After correction, verification will be completed through OTP.
  • SMS confirmation will be sent after successful modification.
  • No correction will be allowed after the examination is conducted.

Additional Edit Window

RPSC may provide an additional online edit facility for 7 days approximately 60 days before the first announced examination date.

Candidates from Other States

Candidates belonging to reserved categories of states other than Rajasthan will be treated as General Category candidates for fee purposes.

OTR Blocking Rules

If a candidate remains absent in two recruitment examinations during a financial year:
  • OTR may be blocked.
  • Re-activation fee: โ‚น750
If the candidate again remains absent in two more examinations during the same financial year:
  • OTR may be blocked again.
  • Re-activation fee: โ‚น1500
Candidates who officially withdraw their application before the examination date will not be treated as absent for OTR blocking purposes.
Candidates must carefully read the official notification, service rules and Instructions for Applicants before filling the online application form.

Step 1: Complete One Time Registration (OTR)

Candidates must first complete One Time Registration (OTR) through:
  • RPSC Recruitment Portal
  • Rajasthan SSO Portal
During OTR, Aadhaar or Jan Aadhaar based e-KYC is mandatory. The following details will be fetched from Aadhaar/Jan Aadhaar:
  • Candidate Name
  • Father's Name (if available)
  • Date of Birth
  • Gender
Candidates must verify these details before completing OTR.

Step 2: Upload Required Information

Complete the OTR profile by entering:
  • Personal Information
  • Educational Qualifications
  • Other Required Details

Step 3: Live Photo Verification

  • A live photograph must be captured during OTR.
  • The same photo will automatically appear in the application form.
  • Candidates should verify the clarity of the photo before final submission.

Step 4: Upload Signature and Left Thumb Impression

The following documents must be uploaded in OTR:
  • Scanned Signature
  • Left Thumb Impression
These details will automatically be used in the application form.

Step 5: Fill the Online Application Form

Login through SSO Portal and open the Recruitment Portal. Fill all required details carefully, including:
  • Category Information
  • Educational Qualification
  • Reservation Details
  • Scribe Requirement (if applicable)
Candidates seeking the facility of a scribe must select the relevant option while submitting the application form.

Step 6: Final Submission

Before submitting the form:
  • Verify all entered details.
  • Check the live photograph preview.
  • Ensure all qualifications and information are correctly entered.
After successful submission, an Application Number will be generated. Important: If an Application Number is not generated, the application has not been successfully submitted.

Important Instructions

  • Only online applications will be accepted.
  • Offline applications will not be considered.
  • Candidates should keep a printout of the submitted application form.
  • Regularly check the Exam Dashboard on the RPSC website for updates.
  • All educational qualifications and experience acquired up to the last date of application must be entered in the form.
Candidates applying for RPSC School Lecturer (PGT) Special Education Recruitment 2026 must possess the required educational qualifications prescribed by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission.

Required Educational Qualification

Applicants must have a Post Graduate Degree or an equivalent qualification recognized by UGC in any one of the following subjects:
  1. English
  2. Hindi
  3. History
  4. Political Science
  5. Sociology
  6. Music
AND Candidates must also possess either:
  • B.Ed. (Special Education)
OR
  • B.Ed. along with a Two-Year Diploma in Special Education recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).

Language and Cultural Knowledge

Candidates should have:
  • Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari Script.
  • Knowledge of Rajasthani Culture.

RCI Registration Requirement

Applicants must be permanently or provisionally registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) before the date of examination. Candidates selected for appointment will be required to produce a Permanent RCI Registration Number before joining.

Final Year Candidates

Candidates who have appeared or are appearing in the final year examination of the required educational qualification may also apply. However, they must produce proof of acquiring the prescribed qualification before the competitive examination conducted by the Commission.
Candidates applying for RPSC School Lecturer (PGT) Special Education Recruitment 2026 must satisfy the prescribed age criteria as on 01 January 2027.

Special Age Relaxation Provisions

Widow and Divorcee Women

  • No maximum age limit is applicable.
  • Widow candidates must produce the husband's death certificate.
  • Divorcee candidates must produce valid proof of divorce.

Government Employees

  • The retirement age under Rajasthan Service Rules is 60 years.
  • The candidate's age should not exceed 60 years on the date of appointment.

Ex-Prisoners

  • Certain age relaxation provisions are available as per Rajasthan Government rules.

NCC Cadet Instructors

  • Relaxation equal to the period of service rendered in NCC, subject to prescribed conditions.

Emergency Commissioned Officers & Short Service Commissioned Officers

  • Eligible for age relaxation as per Rajasthan Government rules.

Important Note

The provisions of age relaxation from different categories are generally non-cumulative. A candidate can avail the benefit of only one applicable relaxation category. However, the additional 5-year relaxation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) may be granted as per the applicable rules.
